When people think about a music studio space in London, they often picture soundproofed rooms, high-end equipment, and the occasional late-night recording session. At Ten87, we believe it’s about so much more.
Since opening our doors in 2014, we’ve built more than just studios; we’ve created an inclusive, collaborative community where creativity thrives, talent connects, and careers are nurtured. With 50 recording studios now home to over 150 recording artists, Ten87 has become a trusted home for music makers looking for more than just a place to plug in and play.
We started Ten87 out of a very real need: to provide long-term, affordable, and inspiring environments for music creators in London. Our spaces are publicly funded and designed in close collaboration with the music industry, giving artists a reliable home to create without compromise.
Unlike many commercial studio providers, our approach has always been centred on community. Every artist, producer, and engineer who walks through our doors becomes part of a network that shares knowledge, collaborates on projects, and supports each other’s growth.
We’re home to a diverse range of talent, from emerging singer-songwriters to globally recognised names, each contributing to the cultural vibrancy that makes our spaces so special. Whether you’re here for a long-term lease or a one-day creative burst, the sense of connection and shared purpose is what sets Ten87 apart.
We know that real creativity takes time. That’s why we’ve designed our long-term studios to give artists the stability they need to focus fully on their work.
Over 30 high-spec long-term studios form the backbone of Ten87. Alongside your private creative space, you’ll find an on-site listening bar/restaurant, perfect for networking or unwinding after a session. It’s also where you’ll find our day hire studios, ready for larger production needs.

Many providers can offer a room with good acoustics. But at Ten87, we’ve built something much more valuable: a cultural hub for music creators in London.
We believe the best music happens in spaces where people feel connected, supported, and inspired. That’s the environment we’ve been cultivating for over a decade.
Whether you’re laying down your first EP, producing an album for a major label, or running a collaborative writing camp, Ten87 offers the music studio space in London to make it happen.
Our mission has always been to give creators more than a room with gear. We give you a home, surrounded by peers who inspire and support your journey.
Come for the facilities, stay for the community, creativity, and culture that makes Ten87 unlike any other music studio space in London.
